The MRO software is based on the company’s Teamcenter technologySIEMENS PLM Software has released a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) software solution.
The MRO software is based on the company’s Teamcenter technology, with enhancements to the Service Data Management module to allow original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and service providers to intelligently manage their distributed service value chain.
The Services Dashboard feature will allow users to manage their compliance, Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) contracts.
According to the company, the Service Dashboard can mine, analyse and report the relevant service data captured through the software, allowing users to intelligently manage their contract obligations.
The company claims its software package is tailored for companies who support and service complex products such as aircraft, ships and power plants.
It provides executive summaries and detailed reports, outsources appropriate services to reduce costs and cycle time, reduces the labour needed to capture, manage and use asset data, and provides continuous feedback for product and process improvement.
