CADCENTRE Asia Pacific has merged with ‘sister’ business group ENVIZAGE, creating a new and bigger enterprise specialising in Autodesk digital prototyping, visualisation, simulation and advanced manufacturing.
Both businesses are owned by CONCENTRIC Asia Pacific www.concentric.com.au. CADCENTRE specialised in Autodesk products within Victoria, such as AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Electrical, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Productsteam and Vault.
According to the owner, these solutions were complementary to the ENVIZAGE offerings, which include the Autodesk visualisation software such as ImageStudio, AliasStudiom Showcase and Portfoliowall.
The combined company has touted the unified range of Autodesk products as enabling the entire cycle of product development from concept to production, or so-called ‘Digital Prototyping’.
The new ENVIZAGE business will specialise in digital prototyping, visualisation, simulation and advanced manufacturing. It will have more than 25 people with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane, and representation in Canberra and New Zealand.
It will also have an advanced manufacturing division at the Brisbane Technology Park featuring a foundry, casting facility, 3D printers, rapid prototyping equipment, industrial spray booth and a hand assembly-finishing team.
