Industrial IT seminars to demonstrate best practices

APPLIED Tech Systems (ATS) will be holding four industrial IT seminars in August intended as a refresher or introduction to the Lean Six Sigma and Simatic technologies.

According to the organisers, the seminars will draw on best practices from companies such as SCA Packaging, Rolls-Royce Aerospace, The Nut Company and Toyota.

The workshops will be moderated by Mike James, who is Group Managing Director of ATS International and Director at Large of MESA Europe.

The Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Workshop will be held on 14 August 2008 in Melbourne, while a MES Implementation Experiences Workshop is scheduled for 19 August 2008 in Sydney.

The ATS Simatic IT breakfast seminar will be held in Melbourne and Sydney on 15 August and 20 August 2008 respectively.
