PRODUCT Lifecycle Management (Australasia) has invited industrial designers, engineers, and CAD/CAM users to attend a ‘live’ webinar on a new design automation capability.
The webinar will demonstrate the capabilities of the NX Product Template Studio (PTS) software, which supports re-use strategies by allowing any parametric part to become a “template” with published inputs and embedded validation tools.
PTS templates can be combined together to create parametric systems models which can be rapidly changed to create new generations of products.
The online event will walk users through various possible with the product template, such as interaction and creation. It will also demonstrate how advanced design controls, measurements and validation can be added to the software interface, as well as other functions.
The online-only event will be held between 10am and 11am Australian Eastern Standard Time on 17 September 2008. Attendees should register via the PLMA website or email by 15 September.
