Mobotix AG provides network-based digital high-resolution video security system technology, while BQT is the developer of the SmaX information transfer technology. Both are based on the Internet Protocol (IP).
According to the companies, IP technology is popular, reliable and structured, and will be increasingly used in industrial applications.
The integration move will cater to the requirements of major projects which require a total security solution. Both companies will also be leveraging each other’s networks of distributors to sell their solutions to more customers.
Already, the partnership technology has been selected by a new factory in Dubai, which has commissioned around 80 cameras. Mobotix’s CCTV product and the SmaX technology will be fully integrated in the project.
