PHYSICAL security software developer videoNEXT has released version 2.5 of its scalable surveillance and security solution, with enhanced access control integration and command and control capabilities.
The latest version of the Security Knowledge Manager (SKM) has an AJAX-based web user interface which allows command and control through a web browser. It also features real time sensor and alarm notification, geo-coordinated 2D and 3D mapping and metadata annunciation.
According to the company, SKM applies advanced web and information technologies to physical security information management. The software is said to be one of the key players in today’s Internet and network-based surveillance and security management systems.
Internet and network-based security systems allow users to view and manage all video and sensors from anywhere on a network or the Internet.
