SYBASE iAnywhere has enhanced its radio frequency identification (RFID) solution with middleware that integrates RFID and sensor technologies with business logic.
RFID Anywhere is a software environment for developing, deploying and managing RFID solutions. The company claims it is an infrastructure base for intelligent RFID and sensor solutions.
Version 3.5 of RFID Anywhere integrates Sybase Unwired Enterprise extended with middleware. This is said to result in broad device support, more flexible architecture and an expanded feature set.
The new version also has support for the latest tools for developers, along with updates to development guidance templates. It also features more robust support for occasionally connected devices, and a greater flexibility with support for more devices.
