CADRE Technologies has released the latest version of its warehouse management system with improved functionality.
According to the company, its Cadence version 3.0 logistics software can improve warehouse productivity.
It supports catch weight operations in receiving, picking and inventory transactions. It also allows warehouse workers to build user-defined product “density codes” that assist pickers in building shipping pallets.
Bard-coded date information capture allows various rules to be applied to shipments depending on destinations.
The new version includes enhancements to the Web Access section of the software, including work-flow approvals, order file attachments and new ordering options for third-party logistics providers.
The Cadence Mobile Logistics tool has also been upgraded, with new features for the picking process, including unit of measure conversion.
