Casio appoints Australian industrial solutions distributor

One of the units the distributor will provide is the new DT-X7 which is designed around user experience and ergonomics.ASP MICROCOMPUTERS will distribute Casio Japan’s range of industrial mobile barcode terminals and personal digital assistants (PDAs) in Australia.

According to ASP, it has previously provided industrial solutions to Australian entities. For example, it provided a Flow Control System for the Australian Bureau of Statistics in 2006, a national barcode system for Telstra to track coin collections from payphones and WiFi seed tracking systems for Boomaroo and Ball.

Casio claims it chose ASP because it had broad experience and knowledge in the integration of solutions using mobile products in the distinctive Australian market.
