THE DEFENCE Signals Directorate (DSD) has evaluated the security of Senetas’ industrial-grade encryptor for securing voice, data and video information.
According to the company, its CyperNet encryptor is a high-speed standards based multi-protocol technology which now meets the strict information security needs of the government.
Although the encryption technology is certified for use by the government, corporations and industry frequently use data security products to protect sensitive information such as blueprints, prototype information and internal communication.
The developer says information will be adequately protected, without impeding day-to-day business. The Australasian Information Security Evaluation Program (AISEP) ensures maximum security and minimum disruption.
The evaluation process took over two years. The product is now the only Layer 2 encryption product on the Australian Government’s Evaluated Products List.
