TRACE Software International says a new release of its elecworks CAD software will be presented at SolidWorks World 2010 from 31 January to 3 February 2010 in California.
According to TRACE Software, elecworks was initially designed to facilitate collaboration between electrical and mechanical teams who create automation and electrical installation projects.
The company says the new release features improved automation generation for PLCs, additional automatic and wiring within SolidWorks, the possibility to adopt or re-use existing SolidWorks assemblies and an integrated wizard to manage and cross-grade AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical drawings.
TRACE Software says elecworks is suitable for designers, engineers and managers who want to integrate electrical schematic in their existing SolidWorks platform as a simple, easy to use and cost-effective add-on.
