FASTCARDS says it has been acquired by Swiss company Bluehill ID.
Brisbane-based Fastcards is an RFID and identity management service provider which serves government and industry clients, and provides RFID tracking solutions to the mining and industrial sectors.
Fastcards’ web-based credential management solution and RFID systems will be sold through the Bluehill Group around the world.
According to Bluehill ID, Fastcards is a good acquisition because both teams are already acquainted, having established working relationships. Fastcards says the acquisition will open up opportunities for their solutions and will help to solidify their technology and product base in RFID.
