Launch demonstration for CAD visualisation software

CONCENTRIC is officially launching Autodesk 2009 on 9 May 2008, and will be highlighting the features of Showcase 2009 during the event.

The Launch Demonstration will be at Holmesglen Conference Centre from 3pm onwards, and entry is free.

According to the Australian distributor, the software allows designers to create accurate and realistic imagery from 3D computer aided design (CAD) data in order to convey form and function and create environmental context to communicate brand character.

The software allows design models to be changed while preparing imagery for design reviews, so design and visualisation work can be done in parallel.

The product is also said to reduce the time and cost of building physical prototypes in early design phases. Digital models can be interacted with in real time, and variations of materials and geometry can be switched during presentation.

The software is integrated with the rest of the Autodesk suite, and supports various CAD formats.
