AUSTRALIAN materials handling solutions provider Tieman Industries has elected to use Epicor’s end-to-end enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology to increase operational invisibility.
According to Epicor, it will be implementing the technology together with its partner COGITA. Its software is designed for progressive make-to-order and mixed-mode manufacturing and distribution companies.
Tieman provides transport and material handling equipment, ranging from liquid road tankers, warehouse dock products to truck tail lifts and access equipment. It hopes the Epicor solution will increase its operational visibility across the entire supply chain.
During its evaluation of various solutions, the company visited Epicor and COGITA customers and said it was impressed by the successful implementations and enthusiastic users.
The Epicor software is built on service-oriented architecture (SOA) and is said to allow continuous performance and lean initiatives, and real-time connectivity between supply-chain applications and partners.
