BACKPLANE Systems Technology has launched the iBase AMI401 embedded system with Intel GM45-based motherboard.
According to Backplane Systems Technology, the AMI401 supports the latest Intel Core2Duo Socket P type processors. The MI945F Mini-ITX motherboard supports up to 4GB DDR2 memory in two SO-DIMM modules.
The ID392 daughter card can be added to the AMI401 embedded system, allowing DVI output displays. Assembled with MI945F, the AMI401 system features the Intel GMA4500MHD graphics engine to offer support for a VGA CRT.
The AMI401 also includes one DVI output, allowing multi-display applications. Custom outlets for the onboard 18/24-bit dual channel LVDS signals can be accommodated.
The AMI401 features a drive bay for one 2.5-inch SATA HDD and one PCI card expansion outlet. The rear panel I/O interface with the MI945F board includes ports for a PS/2 keyboard or mouse, four USB ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, plus VGA CRT and audio jacks. There are another two USB ports on the front panel.
