THE INDUSTRIAL Automation Group of Advantech has released an industrial-grade panel PC said to be designed for easier maintenance.
The IPPC-6152A has a 15 inch LCD screen, a two gigahertz Intel Pentium M processor, front-accessible USB, up to two gigabytes of DDR2 memory, a slim CD-ROM drive and two PCI expansion slots.
The flat-sealed front panel is said to make liquid run-off maintenance more convenient. A gull-wing design for the control box facilitates component installation and maintenance.
According to the manufacturer, the computer is super-slim, with a low voltage and fanless design. It is suited for harsh environments.
