RADIALL has expanded its QMA product line with the new high density RF coaxial Waterproof QMA (WQMA) connector solutions, said to off fast snap-on Quick Lock technology.
The WQMA connectors, exclusively distributed in Australia by Rojone, are fully intermateable and backward compatible with any QLF certified standard QMA jack.
According to Rojone, the connectors have environmental characteristics which provide durability for demanding harsh outdoor applications. WQMA coaxial connector solutions have been developed to connect equipment exposed to humidity or rain when installed outdoor or in air ventilated cabinets.
Rojone claims WQMA connectors are suitable in applications including portable test and GPS equipment, RFID, wireless surveillance cameras, base stations, handhelds as well as interconnections between modules, antennas and access points needed for Wi-Fi, WiMax, 3G and 4G.
The WQMA connectors have an IP68 rating when mated, RoHS compliant, temperature range of -40OC to +105OC and power rating 200W at 1GHz, 75OC.
