INTERMEC has released an enterprise-class Lateral Transmitting (LT) RFID tag with both edge and normal reading said to enhance reading performance.
Edge reading allows users to read the data from the IT67 tag laterally, streamlining operations and making asset tracking more efficient. Normal reading required the readers to face the tag directly.
The IT67 is a passive tag which meets Gen 2 and 18000-6C requirements. It comes with a rugged casing said to survive extreme wear and tear, and has a thin profile and read range up to 8m.
The tag can be mounted to containers with screws, rivets, and double-sided adhesive strips, and is compatible with a range of Intermec mobile and fixed readers.
