ROCKWELL Automation has released an expanded range of industrial-grade Ethernet physical media components.
According to Rockwell Automation, the Ethernet component range is engineered for high performance in harsh industrial environments.
Rockwell Automation says the Ethernet cable family has been engineered to preserve signal balance and integrity, while delivering optimised noise-immunity and return-loss performance.
The range includes four- and two-pair cable varieties with RJ45 and/or M12 connectors, spools of cable, and a variety of accessories.
Rockwell Automation claims its Ethernet components are simple to install and more robust than standard off-the-shelf variants, providing secure, flexible and reliable industrial Ethernet networking.
All Rockwell Automation Ethernet physical media undergo stringent mechanical and electrical testing, and comply with Open DeviceNet Vendors Association (ODVA) standards.
Rated up to IP67, the RJ45 Ethernet cordsets and patchcords are available in robotic TPE, riser PVC and plenum cable jacket versions. M12 cordsets come in robotic TPE configuration.
